After getting huge response from Indians Xiaomi has opened its first brick and mortar store in India named "Xiami Home". It will be open for public on May 20 in Bangalore at Phoenix Market city in whitefield.
Xiaomi has received $1 billion in revenue from the selling of the phones in India through online retailers like Amazon India, Flipkart etc. Xiaomi has emerged as trusted brands among Indians as they provide budget phones to Indians.
"We will open more stores in future in Mumbai, Delhi , Hyderabad and Chennai". The company is planning to open 100 such stores in next 2 years said Manu Jain, Vice President and Managing director of Xiaomi India.
Customers will be able to purchase the products or book the products using small token amount if it is out of stock.
The offline store would help the company connect with the customers and build the brand value across the country. The company already sells million phone in a month in India. The company is planning to double its turnover to $2 billion from $1 billion this year.
The company may also plan to launch its other smart products like smart cookers, smart scooters, laptops etc.
