Reema Lagoo passes away, she was working in a shooting last night


Reema Lagoo passed away today morning due to cardiac arrest. The 59-year-old senior actress took her last breath on 03:30 AM. The sudden death of Reema Lagoo has shocked people as she was fine and also doing shooting of the film 'NaamKarann' till 7 PM yesterday. She then left the shooting after completion.

 After she reached home she was having chest pain and was admitted to Kokilaben Hospital. Her son-in-law confirm the news of her death to TOI last night. "She was fine till 1 AM last night and then she complained to us for chest pain so we took her to hospital", he said. After her admission to hospital she passed away due to cardiac arrest around 03:15 AM. It's quite sad news as she was just 59 and her sudden death has left a deep impact in our hearts.

 Akshay Kumar who played as Reema's son in 1994 film Jai Kishan expressed his deep condolences on the death of his co-actor.  He tweeted "Saddened to hear about the demise of #ReemaLagoo, had the opportunity to work with her.. a fine actress and a person. Prayers to the family."

 Other actors like Amitabh Bachchan, Alia Bhatt, Rishi Kapoor and other actors also shared their condolences. 


PM Narendra Modi also tweeted and shared his condolences on Twitter. "Reema Lagoo was a versatile actor who left a big impact in the film and TV world. Her demise is saddening", PM tweeted.
