After Dhoni's biopic people also waited for biopic based on Sachin the God of Cricket. Well, people's wish was granted and the movie based on the Sachin's life released on theatres on 26th May 2017.
Along with Sachin's biopic there are also two movies which are released before it are 'Hindi Medium' and 'Half Girlfriend'. But Sachin's biopic 'Sachin: A Billion Dream' is doing pretty good and people are really liking the film as Sachin himself is acting in the movie and India is crazy about Sachin - The God of cricket. The Sachin's movie did the business of 7 crore in Hindi considering the fact that it is documentary film. We have never seen a documentary film doing great like this one. The movie is also released in other languages like Marathi, English, Tamil and Telugu.
Now talking about the other movies 'Hindi Medium' did better than 'Half Girlfriend'. Irrfan khan starrer 'Hindi Medium' did a business of 2.25-2.50 crore on second Friday. The movie has caught good attraction and publicity from word-to-mouth. The movie is a great success and will perform well next weekend too. On the other hand Mohit Suri's 'Half Girlfriend' has shown the weak numbers on second week and has totalled 48.50 crore net collection until now.
