Uber India goes to HC for seeking 12 crore in damages from taxi associations



App based taxi provider Uber who has strong presence in United states and also gaining strong grounds in India has moved to high court seeking 12 crore in damages from taxi body association for harming its reputation and for threatening drivers of Uber.

"Drivers are verbally abused are are being threatened and their mobile devices are being snatched and passengers are being harassed" said Uber India. 

There has been more than 1000 such incidents of driver and passenger harassment.

This case is likely to be heard by Justice S J Kathawalla in due course.
